A high quality residential development containing 18 apartments and three penthouses. The site is in an old quarry which required a complex access solution with vehicles and pedestrians entering the building on the roof and travelling down. Auric came to the project during the termination of the original builder and took on full construction responsibility, managing all trades and finishing design to bring the job to a close within very tight budget and time constraints.
Auric’s initial engagement was to assist the developer in progressing the project with the original builder. It was ultimately decided to terminate the builder following identification of significant and numerous defects, with Auric subsequently providing a CM service. Auric also assisted the developer in procuring international refinancing of the project requiring regular reporting to the financier.
